Both FUE and DHI move living grafts. The difference is how they are placed — and therefore how much control you have over the hairline the world will see.
FUE
Grafts are extracted one by one and placed into sites prepared for density and direction. It is the workhorse protocol: efficient, proven, and right for many patterns of thinning.
DHI
An implanter seats each graft. Angle and depth stay in the hand. It is often chosen when the hairline must be especially fine.
